times the break down is as follows:

1st                  U.S. Citizen for child over 21 years
2nd(a)             Permanent resident for spouse  & child under 21
(b)             Permanent resident for unmarried child over 21
3rd                  U.S. Citizen for married child
4th                  U.S. Citizen for sibling

Immediate cases processed faster by the Immigration service. These  cases
are between a United States Citizen and their spouse, minor child under 21
years of age and their parents. The next would be the cases that a waiting
period or priority date apply. These case would be the children of the U.S.
Citizens that are over the age of 21. Next, 2nd preference would be for
Permanent Residents. Here, a Permanent resident filing for his or her
spouse and minor child under 21 for be first. Next it would be children of that
resident that are over 21 years. The 3rd preference is set out for married
children of U.S. Citizens and the last, 4th preference for siblings of U.S.
Citizens.
